About Dona

Dona Wilding Haws writes books, songs, and poems that invite readers to recognize their personal value and possibilities. She holds a degree in Psychology and worked as an Elementary School Counselor before turning her attention to writing.

Her first published poem, “The Goodnight Train,” appeared in Friend Magazine in August 2015. That same year, Ambassador International published her collection Sonnets of Faith—sixty sonnets inspired by scripture from the King James Bible, illustrated by award-winning artist Dan Burr. Her children’s books, Angels Foretold of Baby Jesus and Are You The Babe of Bethlehem?, are published by Cedar Fort Publishing & Media. She has also won Church Music Submissions awards for her songs “Thinking Celestial” and “Do Your Duty.”
